Compassion kingdom

The first stage of the Compassion Kingdom: World Compassion Day launched December 21, 2021. The initial first group of people have already sparked a huge global movement: spreading the vision and bringing humanity together as one.

On December 21st our Vancouver Actions of Compassion team organized a group to deliver socks to the homeless. Followed by delivering over 200 winter coats to the homeless in Vancouver on Jan.31st.

Actions like this can take a little bit of time in raising funds where (every penny counts), organizing a team, and dedicating some additional time.

However, we’ve also had wonderful individual/small group examples and were joined by people from all over the world who had done their own acts of compassion, such as:

  • Delivering clothing & toy articles to feeding homeless animals in Dubai,
  • Delivering books to a school in India, delivering gloves, coats to the homeless in Canada,
  • People from our Vancouver area donating money to our sock drive
  • The Vancouver based Vegetarian Butcher making sandwiches for the volunteers of our drive
  • A Group in LA working at an animal shelter
  • Delivering handmade hats and hot meals to the homeless.

And so many more kind compassionate folks from around the world contributing to this fast growing Compassion Kingdom movement. The day of the launch Shane was also featured on CTV Morning Live news broadcast discussing full details of the Compassion Kingdom: World Compassion Day launch.

Think about it like this. It starts with one person inspiring another human, where those 2 inspire 4, and then 8, and then 16. Those 16 can then inspire 600 and those 600 can inspire 6000 and so on. This is how great things spread and how we believe it must start at a grassroots level.

Each month within the Compassion Kingdom, one day will be selected where everyone focuses on doing a compassionate act. Any small or big act will be a critical contribution towards global change. It can be as simple as sending an inspiring message to a loved one or sending flowers to family & friends. A favourite is volunteering at a local animal or homeless shelter. No matter how big or small an act, done in groups or individually, just know that you will spark change and impact. What matters most is that we are inspiring more people daily to focus on compassion throughout the world.

Compassion and love are the two highest and most elevated emotions that humans experience and share. Not one human being is born racist or hateful. It’s important that we work together as a group to bring upon these emotions within us and throughout the world. We must look beyond our differences and unite the people of the world. For it is love and compassion that will get us to this highest state of being.
